Building Microservices : Designing Fine-Grained Systems - Book Review

What can I say, this is the defacto book for advice and strategies on building microservices in the modern world, I think everyone should at least read this before they plow head first into this world.

Sam does a great job at bringing years of practical experience coupled with a keen philosophical approach togther into an enjoyable read. A read which when followed closely can solve many of the problesm we face with building microservices.

Technology solutions for specific things like metrics, or use of the ELK Stack (ElasticSearch, Logstash and Kibana for logging data) listed tend to be software language agnostic, thus allowing any developer in any language to take the concepts on board.

I've implemented a number of approaches in "Building Microservices" to production systems over the last few years and it has emensly helped us in keep systems up and running with near 100% uptime and without being called when something goes wrong.

For me this is a must buy.
